How do I install mountain bike break levers on my road bike?
I have an 88 schwinn traveler and I would like to replace my drop down brake system with a MTN bike lever system for easier stopping while I am commuting to school. Will I need new cable or can I use the same ones?
You can do it without too much trouble. But you will need some specialized tools and a MTB brake kit.
