Jamis Durango 2.0 Bike – Built For Trail Riding
There are always plenty of things to do in Durango Colorado. And a lot of them you could do on the Jamis Durango! Durango is an outdoor sort of place and the Jamis Durango is the outdoor man’s best friend – or one of them at least. To put it bluntly, this is one of the most versatile of the do-it-all mountain bike series produced by Jamis – and the price of the Jamis Durango is a helluva good one too.
This is probably not what we’re meant to say, but this bike is so darned tough it doesn’t mind the odd crash or two. If you’re into dirt jumping, cross country, road, and downhill , this is the bike for you. It’s a bike for the trails, so you can actually do what you want with it. Perfect for the beginner, the casual trail rider, or die hard bike junkies.
Jamis have not skimped on Durango’s frame. It’s for high performance – not so much racing. It handles well and it makes for a good relaxing ride. But make no mistake, if you want to throw down the gauntlet, the Durango’s will match you yard for yard. The gears shifts easily, the brake discs are powerful.
Jamis is a great company that doesn’t spend their money on advertising. Instead they put that money into the quality of their bikes. The company actually produced its first bike in 1979, but they had been an importer of European bikes and parts since 1937! Small wonder that Jamis Bikes are as good as they are. After all, they are also the crack team which brough you the Jamis Dakota, the Jamis Parker and the Jamis Dragon.
If the Durango sometimes feels a little heavy on the road, it’s quick and really easy to move around on the trails. And the suspension is great which you’ll really value if you’re a bit of bike addict! The seat is good and comfortable and the tires nice and sturdy. So, what are you waiting for? – you won’t regret buying a Jamis Durango 2.0.
